NEAT – Overlook Lighting Enhancements
This project will enhance the current lighting around the Overlook site. The scope will include replacing a portion of existing light poles, foundations, and bollards with new poles and fixtures to better illuminate the overlook playground, memorial, and turf area.

Airport Surveillance Radar and Center Lighting Vault Relocation (Desig ... Airport Surveillance Radar and Center Lighting Vault Relocation (Design)
The Center Lighting Vault Relocation Project will relocate the existing lighting vault, located at the Mid-Field area at CLT Airport to a new proposed location. The project will consist of site work, building work, site utilities, and airfield lighting circuitry.
The selected Final Design Engineer or Engineer of Record (EOR or Consultant) will produce construction documents to be issued for competitive bidding of one or multiple construction packages, followed by Conformed or Released for Construction Plans issued to the responsive or responsible bidder for Construction. The design and documents are to be based on preliminary design or bridging documents prepared by the Owner’s Master Civil Engineer (Aviation Consulting Engineers, LLC, or ACE). The preliminary design effort will include completion of the Design Geotechnical Subsurface Investigation, preliminary design plans to a 30% level of completion, pavement design, and preliminary surveys. Final Design surveys, including pavement tie-ins, etc. will be the responsibility of the Consultant.

Firehouse 44
Firehouse 44 will be an integral asset to support Charlotte Fire Department’s efficient response to emergencies in the community; providing a location within the newly developed River District community and expanding their response area in this newly incorporated region of Charlotte. This 14,600 SF, two-story, 3-bay facility will be the first mass timber firehouse in the Southeast US and will meet Living Future’s (LF) Zero Carbon certification for total project embodied carbon. The project will comply with Charlotte’s Sustainable Facilities Policy and fully support the sophisticated and time-sensitive operations of the Fire Department.

CTC Fare Zone Striping
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out the following work:
The CTC Fare Zone Striping project is a part off safety and security improvements at the Charlotte Transportation Center that will include the installation of the following approximate quantities of heated-in-place thermoplastic markings:
-950 linear feet of customized 2′-wide blue striping labeled with “FARE ZONE”;
-470 linear feet of pedestrian crosswalk (8 separate crosswalks); and
-920 linear feet of safety yellow striping for 23 bus bays.
Other additional work includes the installation of 31 yellow truncated domes, removal of existing crosswalk striping, and providing 121 linear feet of additional blue “FARE ZONE” striping to be turned over to CATS.
Heat-in-place thermoplastic will be installed per NCDOT specifications. The crosswalk and truncated dome will match the City of Charlotte Land Development Standards.

Succession Planning Framework and Related Consulting Services
CLT is seeking proposals from capable consultants with expertise in delivering succession planning framework and related consulting services. This initiative pertains to pivotal roles including executive, directorial, and other vital positions, where seamless and effective personnel transitions are paramount to sustain operational efficiency. Leveraging existing internal talent to bridge transitional gaps and preserving indispensable operational insights, knowledge and procedures stand as imperative objectives for CLT. We seek a consultant who can deliver a practical and comprehensive succession plan that is realistic for our business and employee population and can be adapted as needed and maintained by CLT Staff.

CCPA Staffing Augmentation and Recruiting Services
The City of Charlotte is seeking Companies with the ability to provide Technology and Staff Augmentation needs when supplementation of full-time City staff is necessary. Contractors shall support the City in various roles across City Departments. Staffing includes but not limited to Project Manager, Security Engineer, IT, Accounting and Financial, Skilled Trades, Laboratory and Scientific, and Administration and Clerical. For staffing assignment, Companies shall receive a detailed scope of work containing the specific needs and objectives for the Contractor.
The City is interested in awarding multiple contracts for these services. These contracts will be for a three year term with the option for one, two year renewal.
This contract will be a Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) contract.

The project consists of providing equipment, vehicles, machinery, implements, tools, supplies, incidentals, and skilled personnel to complete unspecified extensions, modifications, maintenance, and repairs to the existing water and
sewer system in the Charlotte Water service area.

Environmental Services Facility HVAC Boiler Replacements
Replace three (3) HVAC boilers at Environmental Services Facility. Current units are at end-of-life. Minimum specs are: natural gas-fed at 150CFH; input 1,500,000 BTU/HR; output 1,400,000 BTU/HR; forced-draft burner on 120V/single-phase power; support communication protocols for LON, BACnet, and IoT. In addition to materials provision, awarded vendor shall perform the following tasks: verify all pipe, conduit, and wiring spec in field prior to proposal; remove and dispose of existing units; disconnect and reconnect hot water lines; disconnect and reconnect all electrical wiring; disconnect and reconnect controls; assess and add/modify any unit drainage systems; run new stainless double wall flue pipes to exterior and terminate at roof; perform combustion analysis to assure proper operation; insulate all piping; perform startup and operation check after install; and any other tasks necessary to ensure optimal operation upon completion.

FY27 Large Service Contract #1
This contract is for the continuous installation of large water and sewer services, as needed, for commercial or residential purposes with a diameter one and a half inches or larger. Customers apply for quotes for service connection and pay the applicable fees to get into the construction queue. This contract will help meet the demand for these kinds of service connections for the next two years.

Safe Streets for All (SS4A) – Phase 1
This project includes safety improvements at 8 sites, focusing on low-cost, high-impact measures such as pedestrian crossings, accessible pedestrian signals (APS), leading pedestrian intervals (LPIs), and priority projects from a Safe Routes to School study.

CMGC- ADA Implementation – Ph 2 – Highrise & Parking D ... CMGC- ADA Implementation – Ph 2 – Highrise & Parking Deck
This project will address the non-conforming, physical ADA barriers to the greatest extent feasible and where applicable under code provisions. Phase 2 includes the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center and adjacent Parking Garage. Scope areas include Exterior Plaza, Entrance Lobby, 2nd Floor Mezzanine and the 15-story Highrise. Specific scope includes, but is not limited to, Partitions, Doors and Door Hardware, Ramps, Millwork, Restrooms, Controlled Access, Obstructions, Plaza Deck and Accessible Routes. The project delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). The CMAR will commence with CBI outreach ~3rd qtr 2025 and trade partner pre-qualification ~4th qtr 2025.
This project will construct a new Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Facility (ARFF) at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The facility will be constructed in a green field site within the airfield. The general scope of the project includes site preparation (grading and drainage), building construction, HVAC, plumbing, asphalt parking lot and roadway paving, electrical, and associated utilities. This project is anticipated to be solicited as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) alternate procurement method.
