Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CDIA) has responsibility for maintenance and repair of approximately one hundred (100) buildings including the airport terminal. CDIA requires a minimum of two on-call contractors to perform maintenance and emergency roof repairs of these facilities. The selected contractors will enter into a time and materials contract for on-call roof maintenance and repair services on an as needed basis. The work shall include the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, and services required to make the necessary repairs. Along with making repairs to roofs, the Contractors shall be required to demolish and remove existing roof materials and dispose of all waste material. Repairs shall be billed on an agreed upon hourly rate and materials percent mark-up.

The Cargo 6 Logistics Relocation is an interior and roofing replacement of the existing Cargo 6 building located on Yorkmont Road. The interior renovation includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes, security, millwork, and restroom fixtures. In the warehouse, the renovation includes select door replacements, a dock leveler. The roof is to be replaced with a new single-ply membrane assembly and the existing rooftop unit (RTU) is to be replaced.

Leveraging existing internal talent to bridge transitional gaps and preserving indispensable operational insights, knowledge and procedures stand as imperative objectives for CLT. We seek a consultant who can deliver a practical and comprehensive succession plan that is realistic for our business and employee population and can be adapted as needed and maintained by CLT Staff.

The primary goal of this project is to upgrade the existing telecommunications infrastructure at the airport from copper Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) lines to a more advanced, efficient Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system. This transition is aimed at addressing the current limitations of the outdated system, which include lack of modern communication features and inefficiency in handling the airport’s operational demands.

Phase II of the Perimeter Fence Upgrade project aims to enhance airfield security and safety by mitigating hazards posed by large terrestrial wildlife and preventing unauthorized access to the airfield. This phase includes the replacement of approximately 21,000 linear feet of perimeter fencing along Runway 18R/36L, as well as upgrades to select airfield gates. The project will increase the fence height from 6 feet to 10 feet and implement targeted gate modifications to align with FAA Cert Alert 16-03 and the Airport Security Plan (ASP).

The Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s “Building Maintenance Department” is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of various facilities buildings, including the main airport terminal, offices, fire stations, tenant buildings, equipment shops, and among others that house various airport activities. The intent of this (RFP) solicitation is to select one or more companies to provide Aviation’s Building Maintenance Department with Emergency Mitigation Clean-Up Services at various locations as identified by the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This work will consist of rapid response for containment, demolition, disposal, drying, cleaning and decontamination as needed per IICRC standards and RIA guidelines on a per-incident basis for water and/or smoke damage. Services consist of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the services as directed by the Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s Project Manager. This Contract does not guarantee a certain number of hours, or an annual sum amount to be paid to the Company(s).
This contract will provide installation services for small-diameter water and sewer service connections within the Charlotte Water service area. It will replace the existing FY24 Small Service Contract #2. The project ensures continued expansion and maintenance of service connections across the region.
