This project provides design services to support electrical system upgrades at the Franklin Water Treatment Plant. Work includes the construction of a centralized generator building, modernization of medium and low voltage switchgear, rehabilitation of existing transfer switches, and instrumentation/control modifications. A Preliminary Engineering Report will guide the final scope of work.

North Tryon St Left Turn Lane at University City Blvd
The purpose of this project is to improve traffic flow on North Tryon Street by extending the left turn lane. This project will include lane widening, drainage and pavement markings.
This project will construct a new exit lane leaving CLT Express Deck-Self Park, enhance signage along CLT Center Drive, and implement enhanced safety measures along this road. Work involved with this is project is a new asphalt roadway connection, additional wayfinding signage and pavement markings, and high visibility crosswalks with flashing beacons. Anticipated construction duration is 9 months. Project constraints will include some but not all night work depending on the work area.
