This project involves the rehabilitation of Biosolids Facilities and Processes which includes the dewatering facility, digester complexes, and digesters. Major mechanical process work and electrical upgrades will also be completed.

Construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in South Mecklenburg County near Mint Hill. The construction consists of process piping, wastewater equipment installation, and electrical power and controls. The project shall also include provision of a temporary treatment plant during construction of the new plant.
Replacement of diffuser discs in aeration basins 3 and 4. Structural repairs in basins. Baffle installation and mixer rehabilitation.
This project will construct a pedestrian bridge over I-277 to connect South End to Uptown. The bridge will be located just west of the existing light rail bridge and will include aesthetic elements to create a signature design. It will also include a new pedestrian rail crossing on the Morehead landing area and will tie the Stonewall plaza into the existing light rail platform. The scope includes a new two-span cable stay arch bridge over I-277. The construction work includes grading, storm drainage, retaining walls, abutments, pedestrian bridge, lighting, curb, and concrete multi-use path.
This project consists of the replacement of low lift station pump check valves. The project will also include filter improvements and non-potable water upgrades, electrical updates, and a sluice gate replacement.
This solicitation will provide for ongoing construction services for the installation of large water and sewer services as requested for commercial/residential use. The project area covers approximately 20 acres and is roughly bounded by Old Plank Road to the north, Larkhaven Road to the east, Westbourne Drive to the west, and Bellhaven Boulevard to the south. The project includes storm drain improvement including culvert replacements, repair of aging and deteriorating storm drains by way of pipe system upgrades, and channel stabilization improvements. The project also includes water line upgrades and sanitary sewer relocations along with road resurfacing and seeding in affected project areas.
This project consists of two culverts in series under Cedarbrook Drive and Denbur Drive. Both culvert crossings consist of triple barrel corrugated metal pipe systems. This is a project that was identified by the asset management team and both culvert crossings are actively failing, and preliminary calculations show that the culverts are also undersized.
