This scope of work outlines the provision of comprehensive support services for the Program Management Information System (PMIS) and Work and Asset Management (WAM) system at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). It includes the continued configuration and implementation of the PMIS to meet CLT’s project management requirements, support for accurate and efficient data management, development of customized reporting and analytics, and maintenance of system performance through ongoing support and updates. The goal is to ensure these systems effectively support CLT’s project delivery, collaboration, and decision-making processes.
Heavy-Duty Refuse Truck and Street Sweeper Truck Maintenance and Repair Services
The City of Charlotte seeks a qualified company to provide heavy-duty refuse truck and street sweeper truck maintenance and repair services. The Company shall perform maintenance and repair services on the fleet of heavy-duty refuse trucks and street sweeper truck equipment owned, operated, or maintained by the City.
On-Call Corrective Maintenance & Rehabilitation Service
To provide Charlotte Water Facilities with immediate on-call repair and corrective maintenance services on an as-needed basis. The Company will be responsible for providing repair/and or corrective services in order to complete necessary projects to ensure reliable operations at Charlotte Water’s water treatment plants, water intakes, tank sites, booster stations, wastewater treatment plants, package plants and lift stations.
On-Call Electrical Services
The Facilities Building Maintenance Division of the Aviation Department is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of various buildings, including the airport terminal, offices, fire stations, tenant buildings, equipment shops, and among others that house various City activities. The intent of this RFP is to select no less than two (2) companies to provide electrical services for the Aviation Department’s Building Maintenance Division. The scope of services is required to assist the Aviation Department with renovations, remodels, and maintenance of existing facilities. It will also include, but not be limited to the following: power, distribution, lighting, conduit, panels, equipment connections and low voltage.
The Services may include, but are not limited to:
- Furnishing professional consultation and analysis of a project site to determine the types and extent of repairs or renovations required.
- Identifying and analyzing requirements to mitigate workflow and pedestrian disruptions.
- Recommendations on new equipment.
- Replacement and new installations.
- Reviewing available data and consulting with the Aviation Department to clarify and define requirements, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Providing all transportation, labor, tools, PPE, supervisions, and permits, if applicable to perform the following:

Passenger Satisfaction Survey and Focus Group Services
Charlotte Douglas International Airport is looking for a Company to provide passenger satisfaction surveys and focus groups with passengers.
This is non-federally funded. The Company should provide the following:

Airport Zones 2 and 3 Landscape Maintenance
This project is to perform landscape maintenance in zones two and three within the campus of Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Zone 2 is primarily made up of areas along Billy Graham Parkway and the airport’s parking lots. Zone 3 is primarily made up of areas along Wallace Neal Rd., ARFF Rd., West Blvd., and Piper Lane. The daily and weekly tasks include mowing, edging, spraying, trash pickup, pruning, and mulching. These areas are to be clean and manicured to present aesthetically pleasing appearance to the public.
Specialty Truck Body Repair and Maintenance Services
The City is seeking a qualified equipment dealer and service provider to work with the Fleet Management Division in supporting the City’s fleet of vocational trucks of various makes and model years. Services required include repair, replacement, maintenance, diagnostics, warranty work, and other related technical support for heavy vocational truck bodies within GVWR Classes 5 through 8.
The selected Company will provide comprehensive service, maintenance, and repair for all vocational truck bodies and associated systems in the City’s fleet. This includes various vehicle types, makes, and model years, such as hot patch units, combination sewer trucks, catch basin cleaners, jetting trucks and trailers, truck-mounted service bodies, cranes, bucket trucks, and concrete mixers.
Service and repair facilities must be located within a 100-mile radius of 829 Louise Avenue, Charlotte, NC, 28204.
Professional Consulting Services for the Charlotte Area Transit System
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out professional services for consulting across multiple disciplines that focus on the following:
1.) organizational strategy,
2.) professional training and development,
3.) human resources, and
4.) workforce development
These services will complement existing resources within CATS and the City of Charlotte. The consultants will play a key role in supporting CATS strategic initiatives to enhance workforce development, improve operational efficiency, and promote sustainable growth.

Overhead Sign Damage Repair
Provide damage repairs to overhead directional signage over the main entrance road to the CLT terminal. Overnight hours Sunday through Wednesday from 2300 – 0500. Coordination of lane closures and safety operations are paramount.
