The objective of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit Proposals that enable the City to determine which ANAB-accredited registrar will best meet the City’s needs to conduct 3rd party audits and issue “Certificates of Registration” in ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 (or the current, approved version of standard).
Integrated Pest Management Services
The Airport is seeking a qualified company to provide Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services. The company must supply all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and applicable licenses and permits required to perform these services at CLT. CLT’s IPM program is defined as a comprehensive approach to preventing and solving pest issues through education, inspection, identification, sanitation, exclusion, communication, biological and mechanical controls, and, when appropriate, targeted applications. IPM services must be conducted in a way that ensures the health and well-being of both the public and airport personnel. The company is also responsible for removing and disposing of all dead pests covered under this contract. The job site includes approximately 2 million square feet of interior facilities, multiple on-property buildings, CLT buses, and parking lots.
FY25 Subsurface Utility Locating Services
This contract will be for the subsurface utility locates associated with miscellaneous projects, from identifying infrastructure around our existing water and sewer lines to assisting in planning for future water and sewer projects. The contract will be used on an as-needed basis, shared between all engineering divisions of Charlotte Water. This will cover Charlotte Water’s entire service area.
E-Builder Management Services
Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is looking to execute a management services contract in order to enhance the use of e-Builder software for project management and controls of capital projects. The consultant would work with the project controls and e-Builder administration staff to create a detailed scope of services and subsequently manage the scope of work laid out in the contract upon its execution.
The scope of work is to include the following assumptions:
1.) Creation of a report process that will provide a snapshot of capital projects,
2.) Enhancements to existing processes,
3.) Help with integration of e-Builder and new ERP application “Workday”; and
4.) Miscellaneous technical support.

Power Equipment and Maintenance Services
The Charlotte Fire Department is soliciting a contract for the purchase of landscape power equipment and maintenance of such at City of Charlotte Fire Stations. In addition, this contract shall provide replacements for CFD Emergency Response power equipment such as chain saws and rotary saws. This contract will include four (4) new fire stations built over the contract term including four (4) ladder companies. This contract shall include a replacement schedule for aged-out equipment as well.
Long Term Investment Program (LTIP) Investment Consulting Services RFP
The purpose of this solicitation is to select an investment consultant (Company) that will partner with the City of Charlotte to provide investment consulting services for the City’s Long-Term Investment Program (“LTIP”) and assist with fiduciary oversight for the City’s existing deferred compensation programs and retiree health investment plan.
Citywide Domestic Appliance Repair Services
The City of Charlotte is seeking qualified service providers specializing in domestic appliance repair to support maintenance and repair of a variety of essential household appliances in various city facilities, including 45 firehouses. The scope of service includes repairs for kitchen ranges (both gas and electric), dishwashers, refrigerators, clothes washers, clothes dryers, and ice machines. Service providers must demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues across these appliances, ensuring they function efficiently and reliably. Preventative Maintenance and Repair of Small Emergency Generators-Cancelled
Charlotte Water will be accepting proposals through RFP for maintenance and repair services for small emergency generators. Scope of services include preventative maintenance, annual preventative maintenance and repair services.
Mass Notification System Maintenance & Repair Services
Charlotte Water is seeking Proposals for a Company(ies) to provide Services for two (2) types of Mass Notification System Maintenance and Repair Services: Scheduled Services and On-Call Services.
All work locations will be at water treatment facilities and remote pumping stations within the Charlotte Water service area, which includes the City of Charlotte city limits, unincorporated City areas, and some towns in Mecklenburg County.
