The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Development division anticipates contracting out repairs to spalling on the east face of the pedestrian platform at Archdale Station. Repairs will involve cutting and removing damaged concrete sections using wall sawing and core drilling methods. Carolina Cutting and Coring, the contractor for this work, will perform preparatory drilling, concrete removal, and site cleanup to restore the platform’s integrity.

Char-Meck Gov’t Center is identified in the City-wide ADA Transition Plan for Program Implementation. Project scope includes removing physical barriers identified in the ADA Transition Plan in conformance with code as applicable. Project Delivery for Phase 2 is Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR). Vendors will be encouraged to look for contractor pre-qualification notices from our CMaR, JE Dunn Construction Company in 2026. Scope includes Plaza Deck, 1st Floor Lobby, Mezz Level, Highrise and the adjacent parking deck.
An addition and equity renovation to existing fire station 22. The addition includes an expanded kitchen, fitness room, restroom, and other ancillary spaces. Renovated areas include the dormitory, the apparatus bay along with ADA improvements throughout the building and site.

The scope of work for this project is to install a new 1,200 amp, 480/277V service, including feeder connections to a new Duke Energy provided utility transformer. This new service shall, in turn, supply power to the new electric vehicle charging equipment. A total of thirteen (13) level 2 EV dual port chargers and one (1) 200 kW DC fast charger shall be installed. Chargers are owner provided, and contractor installed.
The Project consists of providing equipment, vehicles, machinery, implements, tools, supplies, incidentals, and skilled personnel to complete unspecified modifications, maintenance, and repairs to existing water and sewer lines in the Charlotte Water service area.
The Project consists of the installation of approximately 218 linear feet of trench drains within various buildings located at Charlotte Water’s: Irwin Creek WWTP – 4200 Westmont Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217 – Primary Sludge Pump Station, Grit Washdown Building, and Digestor Control Building. McAlpine Creek WWMF – 12701 Lancaster Hwy, Pineville, NC 28134- Dewatering Building, Sodium Bisulfite Building, and Gravity Thickener Pump Station.
The project is located at 5430 Amado and in the Pennwood Lane Cul-de-sac and continues through the backyards to provide drainage to the channel downstream. The project involves storm drainage improvements to improve the storm drainage system in the roadway, to repair failing infrastructure and to improve drainage to the downstream channel.
The Project consists of an undetermined number of individual projects consisting of water and/or sewer extensions, water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer, water distribution system reliability improvement projects, and/or sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects, which will be assigned by the Project Engineer.
