FY23 Small Diameter Water/Sewer Service Contract #2 (Re-bid)

This contract is for water and sanitary sewer service installations including connection to the existing public main, which extends a small diameter line to the property.  Additionally, a water meter box or sanitary sewer cleanout is included. Customers pay connection fees for the installation service, which is based on costs incurred by Charlotte Water in these contracts. The work covered by this contract will provide approximately 800 total services.

Roof Replacement and Building Envelope Repairs

The purpose of this contract is to perform roof replacement and building envelope repairs for two buildings located at 4800 and 4814 West Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina. Estimated term to be less than one year.

Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Project – Series S

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC.  Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water, and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential, and commercial properties.

Davidson- Jordan Place Intersection

To improve the North Davidson/ Jordan Place intersection and enhance multimodal transportation choices for users. This project will improve accessibility for pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular connections to the 25th street light rail station.

Bonlyn Storm Drainage Improvement Project

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC.  Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, and channels. Work could also include working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer.  Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments).  Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within the street right-of-way or within storm drainage easements.

Redman Road SDIP

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC.  Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, and channels. Remote Transmitter Receiver (RTR) SITE C SELF SUPPORTING TOWERS

Procurement of and Federal Aviation Administration Remote Transmitter Receiver (RTR) towers with the following attachments or appurtenances: a platform at the top of the tower, antenna mount arms, a climbing ladder, safety climb system, coax/waveguide ladder, obstruction light, lightning protection and grounding kit and foundation embedment.

All materials to be delivered to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Precast Utility Shelter (Informal Construction)

Procurement of a 12’ x 36’ precast concrete utility shelter to house electrical and communications equipment supporting the FAA’s RTR radar site.  The shelter will be fabricated off-site with minimal field fabrication requirements and will be constructed in accordance with all local and state building codes.
