This project will address the non-conforming, physical ADA barriers to the greatest extent feasible and where applicable under code provisions. Phase 1 addressed barriers in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center Chamber Space, while this Phase 2 addresses all other spaces, including the adjacent parking garage. Scope areas include Exterior Plaza, Entrance Lobby, 2nd Floor Mezzanine and the 14-story Highrise. Specific scope includes, but is not limited to, Partitions, Doors and Door Hardware, Ramps, Millwork, Restrooms, Controlled Access, Obstructions, Plaza Deck and Accessible Routes. The project delivery method will be Construction Manager at Risk. A separate RFQ will be solicited for these services.

Bid Bond-City required Bond to ensure that vendors do not retract bids from the time they submit a bit until the contract has been executed.

Performance Bond-City required Bond to ensure satisfactory completion of a project by the vendor.
