It is anticipated that the project will follow the City of Charlotte sustainability requirements and will be pursuing a Green Globes Certification. It is anticipated that a Construction Manager will participate in Green Globe Project Survey and provide services required to achieve the Construction Activity Participation.
This service will secure a multiyear contract that will establish a program initiative to implement the Customer Centric Culture at CLT for all employees airport-wide.
This Project aims to modify and relocate existing equipment, replace tables, add an experiential element, and extend tenant services at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The modifications of the existing equipment will accommodate a dual-use system at each Gate Counter including the electrical and data infrastructure leading up to the network. There will be a Flight Information Display System” that will need to be relocated in the connecting corridor which includes structural attachments to the building and repairs to the existing Terrazzo. Work hours between 2300 – 0500 EST to prevent disruption to Airport Operations. This project will require 100% badging for all workers.

The addition of the chiller will also include the installation of one 2000-ton rooftop cooling tower, one chilled water pump, removal of existing filtration systems, new side filtration skids, and one condenser water pump. Existing structure and piping will be extended as needed to accommodate the installation of the listed equipment.
