Water Treatment Chemical Services

The scope of this contract shall be to provide water treatment chemicals
and to furnish all professional services and expertise to operate a water treatment chemical program which uses diffusion-based coating and membrane technology, referred to as the Smart Release Osmotic Membrane Chemical Feed System. The company shall provide all products and water treatment chemicals required to maintain two Central Chiller plants totaling 7165 tons of cooling and the new central energy plant, which has a total of 8000 tons of cooling, and will add a total volume of approximately 350,000 gallons of chilled water and approximately 110,000 gallons of hot water to the closed loops systems. The central energy plant will be coming on-line
in year three of the contract. The contract covers the building heating and air
conditioning open and closed water loops, the boiler closed loop and steam
condensate which consist of six boilers totaling 1225 (BHP) Boiler Horsepower. The Company will maintain these systems through an aggressive water treatment chemical program. The water treatment chemical program shall be a typical dual biocide program which consists of a scale and corrosion inhibitor with oxidizing and nonoxidizing biocides. The Scale/Corrosion inhibitor, the oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocide are to be Smart Release osmotic membrane products and shall be feed from separate smart release canister feeders.

Construction Field Office Relocation

This project is located at 4728 West Blvd and consists of demolition of approx. 2000sf of existing office space which will be upfit to 4800sf of new office space for 40 people that will include offices, a conference room, cubicle spaces, restrooms, and breakroom.  Additionally, this project will include site improvements to existing parking areas that require storm water drainage, paving, and stripping.

 

DELETE OPPORTUNITY – Design, Implement and Maintenance Services for a Content Management System (CMS)

Company is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the approved web and mobile application. The website should consume content and web assets from the Content Management Database (CMDB) similar to the function of a headless web Content Management System (CMS). The mobile application will also consume content from the CMDB. The content
will be created and editable in the CMDB and accessed via a feed or API to the front-end website and mobile application.

Window Washing

The scope of this contract shall be to provide window cleaning services (“Work”) through the Airport’s main terminal, business valet parking decks, daily parking decks, hourly parking deck, old terminal and ramp tower. Work will include interior and exterior window cleaning on an “on-call” basis.

Badge, Credential Stock and other related items

CLT Airport shall purchase miscellaneous items for re-stocking of badges and credential items including but not limited to badge holders and clips, printer and inline laminating supplies and badges.

Building Management Systems

CLT is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced companies interested in maintaining existing or providing a Building Management Systems to monitor access control, cameras, HVAC and fire detection at the main Terminal, old Terminal building and at the CLT
Center.

Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Services

The Charlotte Douglas International Airport uses a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) for the operation, management and facilitation of general aviation properties and services for private, recreational, and other aircraft.  These services will be set up for a multi-year period that is to be determined.

Services are scheduled to begin on or about April 1, 2025.

 

Airport Classification and Compensation Study

Aviation is seeking a contractor to perform a comprehensive evaluation of all positions and job classifications within the Aviation Department. The study objectives include the following aspects: classification alignment, salary alignment, career progression, justifiable pay differentials and market competitiveness.

 

 

Concourse E Moving Walkways

This project is to install three pair of new moving walkways on Concourse E at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”). The Contractor shall provide new conveying systems that will work with the existing pit conditions and configurations, noting that one pair will be shortened by approximately 30’ to improve passenger circulation. Removal and disposal of the moving walkways, temporary infill of the of the existing pits, and pit modifications required to the first pair of moving walkways (E-MW-01/E-MW-02) are part of the separate Concourse E Renovations project (currently underway) and thus are not part of this scope of work. As such, it is imperative that the Contractor closely coordinate with the Concourse E Renovations project through the CLT project manager.
