Pest Control Services

The scope of this contract shall be to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and applicable licenses and permits necessary to perform the services at CLT Airport and CATS. The Company shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of all dead pests on the job site of the type that are covered under this contract. The contract term will be three years with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms.

Airport Main Terminal Bagroom Conveyor Upgrades

This contract will be to provide the design, engineering, fabrication, transportation to/from the site, installation, removal, replacement, demolition, modifications, testing, and turning over in working order the Baggage Handling System conveyor equipment upgrades in compliance with specifications and drawings. Project estimated to be completed within a 6 months.

 

Asphalt, Concrete and Miscellaneous Material Testing – (On-Call)

These services include conducting general material testing tasks in accordance with industry accepted standards and practices as well as the requirements of the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration, North Carolina Department of Transportation and City of Charlotte standards. Examples of Federal Aviation Administration standards include but are not limited to P-401/403 (Asphalt) and P-501 (Concrete).

Materials testing will be to independently verify site/material conditions to allow work to proceed with confidence. Material Testing services may also include construction observation, report writing and quantity measurements.

Fire Station #41 Expansion

This project involves the construction of an expansion to the existing Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Station No. 41.  The 6400 square foot expansion will include four bays added to the existing structure and associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP). The project also consists of the relocation of an existing 50’x60’ sprung structure and up to 12,662 square feet of concrete pavement around the fire station.

Note:  The base bid for concrete paving is 7217sf.  The 12,662sf is part of an alternate  bid.

Airport Roof Replacement and Repairs

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CDIA) has responsibility for maintenance and repair of approximately one hundred (100) buildings including the airport terminal. CDIA requires a minimum of two on-call contractors to perform repairs, replacement and emergency roof repairs of these facilities.

The selected contractors will enter into a time and materials contract for on-call roof replacement and repair services on an as needed basis. The contract will include a three (3) base years and two (2) optional one-year (I) terms for a total potential contract period of five (5) years. The work shall include the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, and services required to make the necessary repairs. Along with making repairs to roofs, the contractors shall be required to demolish and remove existing roof materials and dispose of all waste material.  Repairs shall be billed on an agreed upon hourly rate and percent mark-up on materials.

eBuilder Support Services

  • 1-2 full-time Certified e-Builder Administrator(s), to implement new CIP processes and modify existing workflows at the direction of CLT staff.  It is anticipated that the duration for this position is 1 year.
  • 1 full-time Certified e-Builder Administrator/ Business Analyst, for an anticipated duration of 3 years with the option of two 1-year extensions.  This position will help with creating new processes, maintaining the existing system, and maintaining the overall CLT e-builder system.  Work will be assigned at the direction of CLT staff
  • 1 full-time Support staff, for an anticipated duration of 3 years with the option of two 1-year extensions.  This position will help with training, implementation, help desk tickets, etc.  Work will be assigned at the direction of CLT staff.
  • 1 full-time Document Control Manager or additional Support staff, for an anticipated duration of 3 years with the option of two 1-year extensions. This position will ensure consistency of naming conventions, folder and file structure, plan room organization process’s

Resident Project Representative/Construction Inspection Services 

The Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) is seeking to engage the services of a qualified Aviation consultant, to provide Resident Project Representative/Construction Inspection (RPR) Services for various projects. These projects may include, but are not limited to pavement projects (new, extended and/or rehabilitated pavements for runway, taxiway, and apron areas), auto parking lot improvements, roadway improvements, airfield
lighting and NAVAIDs improvements, airfield fuel system improvements, airfield signage improvements, demolition of airfield improvements, aircraft hangars, utility infrastructure development and upgrades, and other similar airport related projects. The work also will include vertical construction work such as new Terminals and Concourses, rehabilitations to Terminals and Concourses, various aviation support facilities (fire stations, cargo and catering buildings, etc) with scopes of work that include foundations, steel framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and security systems, baggage handling systems, IT infrastructure, and building finishes.
