Charlotte Storm Water Services / Construction

Aviation / Construction
Package 1 of the South Ramp Expansion Program for Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT or the Airport) is the first phase of construction of the overall program targeted to enhance capacity and improve efficiency of the terminal ramp by addressing ramp congestion, improving taxi times and enhancing safety. The scope of work will include but is not limited to pavement demolition, cement concrete pavement, asphalt shoulder paving, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, pavement markings, and airfield electrical installation.

Aviation / Construction
The Fixed Based Operator (FBO) Apron Expansion & Rehab project will construct additional aircraft parking area on the FBO apron, construct a new taxilane entrance stub to the FBO ramp, widen the existing entrance stub to support Airplane Design Group (ADG) V movements, and rehabilitate select pavements areas on the FBO ramp for Taxiway Design Group (TDG)-V aircraft. The apron expansion will remove an existing trailer office and auto parking space by converting the area to aircraft pavement that will adjoin the Bank of America apron area. The project scope will include building and parking area demolition, security fencing, asphalt and concrete pavement, airfield electrical, and airfield pavement markings.

Aviation / Construction
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) intends to issue an Invitation to Bid (“ITB”) for the rehabilitation construction of Runway 18L/36R and Taxiway D. The scope of this work will include but is not limited to asphalt milling, paving, airfield electrical work, and pavement makings.

Charlotte Water / Construction
This contract will provide installation services for small-diameter water and sewer service connections within the Charlotte Water service area. It will replace the existing FY24 Small Service Contract #2. The project ensures continued expansion and maintenance of service connections across the region.

Charlotte Area Transit System / Construction
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out the construction of the Hambright Park & Ride. The proposed Hambright Park and Ride will be an approximately 460 parking space mobility hub to provide rapid transit services to the Town of Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas by utilizing the newly constructed express lane direct connect. The project will also include a new public street to access the site, driver comfort station (driver restroom facilities), internal pedestrian circulation, provisions for a mobility hub for micro-mobility options and/or shared ride services, site security and surveillance, and sustainability components.

Charlotte Water / Architectural / Engineering Services
This Contract will be for Owner’s Advisor services the upcoming design and subsequent construction of the proposed Lee S. Dukes WTP Expansion and associated infrastructure projects. The Owner’s Advisor professional services will start during procurement and continue through construction/warranty phases of infrastructure associated with the Lee S. Dukes WTP Expansion project.

This Contract is for the design and construction of the Lee S. Dukes WTP Expansion project. The first phase of this project will include the start-up of a new 18 MGD conventional treatment train and additional associated structures, processes, and appurtenances, including residuals basins, high service pumping, clearwell storage, and standby power. The Design-Builder will work with Owner and Owner’s Advisor to determine the treatment processes, final layout, sizing, and specific facilities to meet the Owner’s goals for this project. The Design-Builder will provide the resources and staff to deliver the final project that will include, but not be limited to: Facility Planning and Preliminary Design, Permitting, Detailed Design, Cost Estimating, Construction, Start-Up and Commissioning.

Department of General Services / Architectural / Engineering Services, Construction
This purpose of the Bryant Farms Road Extension, Phase II project is to continue the street connection of Bryant Farms Road between Rea Road and Ardrey Kell Road. The design is anticipated to include a two-lane road with turn lanes, shared-use path on both sides of the road, and improvements at the intersections of Bryant Farms Road with Rea Road, Tom Short Road, and Ardrey Kell Road. The project will also build a crossing over Flat Branch stream and will run adjacent to the Flat Branch Nature Preserve for a portion of the project.
