Irwin Creek WWTP Stormwater Improvements Project

This construction contract will replace existing diesel pumps with electric submersible pumps. This will be done at three locations at the existing stormwater outfall locations. The project will also include installation of permanent discharge piping at stormwater outfall 1. This will require electrical duct bank along with wiring and all necessary components to power the pumps.

Lee Dukes Chemical Feed Piping Replacement

This construction contract will be for the replacement of the chemical feed piping at the Lee Dukes Water Treatment Plant. The piping replacement will pertain primarily to the chlorine feed system and the alum feeds.

Ashe Plantation Lift Station

This contract will be for the construction of a 250,000 gallon-per-day duplex lift station and demolition of the existing wastewater treatment package plant. Included will be the construction of an emergency containment basin, upsizing of an existing gravity sewer, installation of a portion of an 8″ force main, new wet well. Owner plans to procure pumps and standby generator for the project.

Lift Station Improvements Phase III

This construction contract is for various improvements and rehabilitation needs at six of our lift station sites. General improvements will include reck-mounted control cabinets at grade level, new submersible pressure transducers, new wet well level floats, installation of a magnetic flow meter in a precast vault with a bypass on the existing force main.

Franklin WTP Belt Filter Press Conveyor Replacement

This will be an Invitation to Bid to procure and install a new belt filter press conveyor system at Franklin Water Treatment Plant. The work will also include demolition and removal of the existing system.

Progressive Design-Build Services for Lee S. Dukes WTP Expansion

This Contract is for the design and construction of the Lee S. Dukes WTP Expansion project. The first phase of this project will include the start-up of a new 18 MGD conventional treatment train and additional associated structures, processes, and appurtenances, including residuals basins, high service pumping, clearwell storage, and standby power. The Design-Builder will work with Owner and Owner’s Advisor to determine the treatment processes, final layout, sizing, and specific facilities to meet the Owner’s goals for this project. The Design-Builder will provide the resources and staff to deliver the final project that will include, but not be limited to: Facility Planning and Preliminary Design, Permitting, Detailed Design, Cost Estimating, Construction, Start-Up and Commissioning.

FY26 Water and Sewer Repairs — CANCELLED

This Project includes the repair of water and sewer main lines and service lines throughout the Charlotte Water service area. The work under this contract
will supplement the City’s workforce in making both routine repairs and more urgent repairs when damage is done by other parties. Work may include either water or sewer lines, any depth or any size. Because of the unknown scope of each repair, this is a Time and Materials contract.

PCC Slab Replacement Program

The Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Slab Replacement Program will include the rehabilitation and replacement of various airfield PCC pavement slabs that will be identified by the Owner. The intent of this solicitation is to select a company to provide rehabilitation and replacements utilizing selected construction materials for specific projects at various locations on Airport property on an as needed, Task Order basis during the duration of the scheduled contract. The Scope of Services requires the contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services, and perform and complete all work in an efficient and workmanlike manner necessary to complete construction of the PCC Slab Replacement Program.

Cargo 6 Logistics Relocation

The Cargo 6 Logistics Relocation is an interior and roofing replacement of the existing Cargo 6 building located on Yorkmont Road. The interior renovation includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes, security, millwork, and restroom fixtures. In the warehouse, the renovation includes select door replacements, a dock leveler. The roof is to be replaced with a new single-ply membrane assembly and the existing rooftop unit (RTU) is to be replaced.
