This project is a renovation at the airport’s fixed based operator (FBO) location that will modify the existing mechanical infrastructure to bring the system into compliance with NFPA code and safety standards, while also increasing flow capacity to allow for faster fueling operations.
The scope of work includes replacement of the meter and filters, replacement of the control valve with a flow-rate control system, and the addition of an overfill prevention system and relaxation chamber.
The project duration is anticipated to be approximately five months, with roughly four months allocated for shop fabrication, assembly, and submittals, followed by approximately one month for onsite installation.
This project includes replacing all the components of the existing UV system at McDowell Wastewater Treatment PLant. This will also require temporary disinfection capabilities throughout the installation of the new UV system.
This project will include the installation of 39 new valves inside of the 24 MOD. The existing valves have reached their useful life. These valves have been purchased separately by Charlotte Water.
This project includes replacing all the components of the existing UV system at Irwin Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. This will also require temporary disinfection capabilities throughout the installation of the new UV system.
This project will include the replacement of the 30″ influent pump station knife gate valves at the discharge header with new plug valves. Additional piping that is failing will need to be replaced along with valve actuators and electrical components. Replacement of malfunctioning gates will also need to be replaced.
This construction contract is for the replacement of the Alum Bulk Storage tanks at the Lee Dukes Water Treatment Plant. The project will also include replacement of the existing piping between the day tanks and the bulk storage and the piping between the bulk storage tank to the delivery fill location.
This construction contract will replace existing diesel pumps with electric submersible pumps. This will be done at three locations at the existing stormwater outfall locations. The project will also include installation of permanent discharge piping at stormwater outfall 1. This will require electrical duct bank along with wiring and all necessary components to power the pumps.
This construction contract will be for the replacement of the chemical feed piping at the Lee Dukes Water Treatment Plant. The piping replacement will pertain primarily to the chlorine feed system and the alum feeds.
This contract will be for the construction of a 250,000 gallon-per-day duplex lift station and demolition of the existing wastewater treatment package plant. Included will be the construction of an emergency containment basin, upsizing of an existing gravity sewer, installation of a portion of an 8″ force main, new wet well. Owner plans to procure pumps and standby generator for the project.
