Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is seeking a Finance & Procurement system for CATS Bus Operations Facility.  Accounting software will be Cloud Based to Include AP, AR, G/L, Report Writer as well as fixed assets.
It must Support City of Charlotte (COC) General Ledger account strings.
Possibility to integrate with COC System
Requires workflow approval Multiple modules to include Requisitions, Request for Checks and Purchase Order Change Orders.
Accounts payable invoice matching to Purchase Orders with ability to attach electronic copies to the Purchase Orders as well as unique invoice confirmation.
OCR Capability
Support multiple ledger types.
Vendor central module.
Interface with outside vendors such for payroll and maintenance.
Data must export to CSV, Excel and other formats.

Park Ave Crossing at Grade Renewal

Park Avenue Road crossing is experiencing a degraded roadbed infrastructure issue that is affecting the safe passage of pedestrians. If a crossing renewal is not made, the roadbed substructure will continue to degrade which would affect the safe passage of vehicular and LRV traffic. Park Avenue Road crossing is a tub system in which crossing tubs are placed on a graded, compacted roadbed, rails are housed with a concrete insert that secures the rails through the grade crossing.

Blue Line Extension (BLE)- GRADE CROSSING, GATE ARMS SPARES AND REPAIRS

Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is the largest Rail Transit System in North Carolina and has various maintenance and parts needs along the rail lines. Western-Cullen-Hayes, Inc. is the original supplier and the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for CATS BLE Grade Crossing Parts and Integrity Wire was utilized to supply Gate Arms Spares. The awarded bidder will have to also make minor repairs. In order to upkeep the BLE Grade Crossing CATS is in need of a contract for spare parts.

CATS Bus Operations is looking for a one-time purchase of 2 tugs to support Bus Operations services.  The requirements are for the tug to be capable of pushing inoperable transit buses up to 90,000 GVW on dry surface conditions.

SAFT LRV S70 Replacement Batteries

Charlotte Area Transit System Rail Division is requesting to purchase 12 LRV S70 SAFT NICKEL CADMIUM BATTERY MODEL SRX220F3 COMPRISED OF 20 HIGH RATE SINTERED/PBE CELLS housed. The original life span of the current batteries have reached their maximum production life and inventory spares need to be replaced to ensure revenue service isn’t interrupted.

Track 4 Fall Protection

Charlotte Area Transit System is the largest Rail Transit System in North Carolina and has various maintenance needs along the rail lines. This is a solicitation for fall protection for Track 4 in the SBLRF. This will protect personnel from falling while performing maintenance on a light rail vehicle. The selected vendor will design, engineering, fabricate, and install a fall protection system for track four (4) middle and south sections of the South Boulevard Light Rail Facility.

Rail Inventory Bulk Pak Storage and Shipping containers

Charlotte Area Transit System’s Rail division is looking to purchase reusable bulk pack commercial shipping containers and pallets for warehouse storage and shipping repairs to various vendors. Containers will protect the LRV equipment/ spare parts during shipping and storage in the warehouse. Purchase of containers will reduce the cost of buying wood to build to ship repair parts out to vendor’s for repair.
