The City operates and maintains 775 traffic signals throughout the City of Charlotte and ensures maintenance is performed on all traffic signals every 12 to 18 months. The contracts will provide maintenance of traffic signals for all traffic signals in the City. Work includes installation and confirming correct operation of all components.
This unspecified contract will provide horizontal construction services on an as-needed basis to the General Services Department. The work includes: traffic control; erosion control; clearing and grading; drainage; milling; asphalt paving; pavement markings; retaining wall; concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveways; pedestrian refuge island, and wheelchair ramps; utility relocation and installations; and related activities.

This project includes entrances and communications equipment for six existing traffic signal control cabinets and the installation of seven traffic management cameras. The project limits are North Graham Street beginning at West Sugar Creek Road to Mallard Creek Road to West WT Harris Boulevard. This project includes fiber optic cable splicing, testing, Ethernet equipment communications, and traffic management cameras and equipment.
This project will install approximately 1.53 miles of 36 count single‐mode fiber optic cable installed in new directionally bored, hand dug and trenched conduit, existing conduit and aerial attachments to poles. This project includes entrances and interconnect equipment for four existing traffic control cabinets and the installation of four traffic management cameras. The project limits are East Boulevard beginning at Queens Road West to Euclid Avenue. This project also includes fiber splicing, testing, Ethernet equipment communications, and traffic management cameras and equipment.
This project will install approximately 2.1 miles of 24 count single‐mode fiber optic cable installed in new directionally bored, hand dug and trenched conduit, existing conduit and aerial attachments to poles. This project includes entrances and interconnect equipment for eight existing traffic control cabinets and the installation of six traffic management cameras. The project limits are S Tryon Street beginning at West Boulevard to Clanton Road and then along Clanton Road to Barringer Drive. This project also includes fiber splicing, testing, Ethernet equipment communications, traffic management cameras and equipment and other related activities.
