Charlotte Water is seeking a company to clean contaminated sediment from the 36-inch outfall to the Irwin Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
Work includes cleaning the main, collecting dislodged sediment, transporting it to the treatment operation on the premises of the Irwin Creek WWTP, dewatering, and safe disposal of the contaminant.
The City of Charlotte, North Carolina (“the City”) is seeking one or more qualified Companies to provide basic washing, full cleaning, and decontamination services for its fleet of vehicles and construction-type equipment. Services will be performed either Off-Site (at Company’s facilities) or On-Site (on City Property) as deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The standard cleaning service frequency for most vehicles is monthly, however some of the City’s departments encounter circumstances in which cleaning is required on a more frequent basis. Decontamination services are requested on an as-needed basis.
The scope of this contract shall be to provide Waste Management and Emergency Response Services on an as needed basis for various areas of the CLT’s property. These locations include but are not limited to the Air Cargo/South Airfield support areas, concourse ramp areas, main terminal facility, CLT Center building, American Airlines and other airline tenant facilities, remote rental car support facility, general aviation, and support facilities, and any other CLT managed facilities or designated contractor project work areas.
