The City of Charlotte provides direct traffic control and logistical Support for the Spectrum Center which is host to an estimated 125 sporting, music, business, and other events each year. The City is interested in receiving proposals for this service. The awarded Company shall be the sole provider of traffic control services for the Spectrum Center and designated areas around the Spectrum Center. The Company shall provide all personnel, and traffic control equipment to implement the Traffic Control Plan for the safe operation of vehicles and pedestrians. The Company shall be responsible for the storage, retrieval, set up, and immediate removal of all traffic control equipment from City owned rights -of-way following the events. On-site presence is required for the duration of the event.

CLT offers nonstop air service to more than 186 destinations around the globe and is home to eight major air carriers, 15 regional carriers, and three foreign flag carriers. To reduce visitor risk, increase visitor return rates and minimize oversight and recurring management of City staff, the City has determined that a Traffic Control Plan, and a Company to perform portions of this plan are necessary for select events. During the last year, the City and current Company have provided this support for over 69 events. The selected Company shall be the sole provider of traffic control services for the Spectrum Center and designated areas around the Spectrum Center.

The City is seeking a Service Provider to manage transportation for patrons attending events at the Spectrum Center in uptown Charlotte, and to manage traffic flow to and around the venue for selected events.
On Street Parking and Curb Lane Management Services
The City of Charlotte is seeking a company to provide turn-key operational management of the City’s on-street parking program, to include all customer service; parking enforcement and restrictions; issuance of residential parking permits; maintenance of meters and pay stations; and processing of citations, appeals, and collections.
