The City of Charlotte is seeking to contract with one or more companies to provide nuisance abatement services when property owners fail to comply after legal notice. The contractors shall provide services that include but are not limited to mowing tall grass, weeds, and/or vegetation, removing yard waste, removing bulky curbside items, removing junk and debris, and/or securing (boarding up) residential and commercial structures found to be vacant and open.
The City is looking to award a contract for a term of three years with the option for (2) one-year renewal terms.

All work must meet accepted standards as set forth in industry documents and this scope of services. This Request for Proposal will be for vegetation management of 40 miles CATS Rail Operations track. This area includes double main track, storage tracks and yard tracks. The railroad vegetation management is to protect the LYNX rail passengers and CATS infrastructure, as well as preserving a stable balance with the environment and surrounding natural resources. The vegetation management will consist of two track vegetation sprays a year. The spraying will be on track, off track areas within the storage yards, sub stations and signal houses.
