The project is bounded by the Park Rd Shopping Center to the South, Park Rd to the West, Arbor Lane to the North and Little Sugar Creek to the East. The project involves storm drainage improvements along Reece Rd primarily with some improvements in intersections with Park Rd and Arbor Lane.

2500 Briargrove Dr. Storm Drainage Improvement Project
This project involves installing a closed drainage system down both Briargrove Dr. and Milton Rd. to reroute runoff from an existing stream. The proposed closed drainage system ties back into the existing culvert under Colby Pl.
718 Harwyn Dr. Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Project proposed to replace an existing culvert system under Harwyn Dr. with 2 – 3×5 box culverts, as well as a pipe cleaning effort through the triple 54” RCP culvert at downstream Eaves Ln.
Hunter Acres Water Quality Enhancement Project
The City of Charlotte Storm Water Services has proposed a repair project for an existing pond called Hunter Acres Pond. The pond is located on Crestland Avenue, near the intersection of Crestland Avenue and Cornelia Drive, and the Parcel ID is 04302401. The pond is identified in the NC Dam Safety Inventory as MECKL-207-H and is classified as a high hazard dam. The forebay is located approximately 200 feet west of the main dam embankment.
Village Lake Dr 2210 Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Project started due to surface depressions along roadway. City plans to remove and replace corrugated metal pipe with 83 linear feet (LF) of 8’ x 4’ reinforced concrete box culvert; remove and replace two headwalls; remove and replace 311 LF of 15″ reinforced concrete pipe (RCP); remove and replace 42 LF 24″ RCP; remove and replace 27 LF 18″ RCP; bank grading; and remove and replace 85 LF 10” ductile iron pipe of sewer.
Freedom Dr 3144 Storm Drainage Improvement Project
This Storm Drainage Improvement Project will replace failing storm water infrastructure at 3144, 3200, and 3232 Freedom Drive. Project will install over 1500 feet of new storm drainage pipe.
