The City of Charlotte is looking for qualified Service Providers to work in conjunction with Fleet Management to perform complete turnkey collision repairs and related services (excluding any City applied graphics), on the City’s various makes and models of vehicles. Service Providers shall pick-up and deliver vehicles, as well as perform all collision repairs at their facilities. Collision repairs may include, but are not restricted to, frame, cooling systems and lines, frame, engine components, transmission, steering, cooling systems, and related parts repairs or replacement. Services shall adhere to any related OEM requirements and/or recommendations.
City and County vehicles include but are not restricted to, Police vehicles, Fire vehicles, general staff cars, various pickup trucks, medium trucks, and medium duty transportation buses, all of various makes, models, and applications. As makes, models, and quantities are subject to change, the Service Provider is required to maintain facilities, inventory, training, and related equipment necessary to accommodate a variety of vehicles.
The scope of this project is to connect one 2000-ton chiller (owner furnished and set on equipment pad) and corresponding mechanical equipment to the CEP. The addition of the chiller will also include the installation of one 2000-ton rooftop cooling tower, one chilled water pump, removal of existing filtration systems, new side filtration skids, and one condenser water pump. Existing structure and piping will be extended as needed to accommodate the installation of the listed equipment.
The City of Charlotte requires qualified light vehicle dealers and general service providers to work in conjunction with the Fleet Management Division to support the city’s fleet comprising various makes and model years. The services for this requirement include, but are not limited to, repair, replacement, maintenance, diagnostic, warranty repair, on all automobiles, vans, and pick-up trucks operated by the City without exclusions or limitations.

This project involves outsourcing of servicing and repairs of radiators, Charge Air Coolers, various Oil Coolers, Coolant Surge Tanks, and Fuel Tanks for CATS buses. The vendor will pick-up and return units to CATS facilities. Service of the units will take place at the vendors facility.
