The Iris Drive Storm Drainage Improvement Project involves removal of existing retaining wall and installation of erosion control measures; installation of a new retaining wall; milling, resurfacing, and restriping of existing parking lot; installation of wheelstops and installation of curb; installation of a stormwater manhole, catch basin, and associated pipe. Stream improvements include addition a boulder toe, rock sills, and plantings along portions of the stream. The estimated cost of this project is $ 521,500.00.
Engineering Inspections for Rail Bridges, Elevated Rail Stations and Walls CANCELLED
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requires the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) to inspect all light-rail bridges, elevated stations, walls, and culverts and stay current every two years. There is also a 5-year inspection cycle for all parking decks. CATS is seeking a contractor to perform these services under a 6-year contract.
