Work performed under this transportation repair (TR) contract will consist of storm water infrastructure maintenance, repair and maintenance projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential and commercial properties. McAlpine WWTP Biosolids Treatment Facility Reliability
This will be an Invitation to Bid for Charlotte Water. This project will involve the rehabilitation of Biosolids Treatment Facilities. Facilities generally include digesters, digester control buildings, biogas conditioning facilities, digested sludge storage tanks, and dewatering buildings.
McDowell Creek WRRF Digesters Rehabilitation
This will be an Invitation to Bid for Charlotte Water. The project will involve the rehabilitation of biosolids treatment facilities at the McDowell Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility. Work will focus on existing digesters and may include structural repairs, floor regrouting, replacement of mechanical components, and upgrades to valves and associated piping. Electrical and instrumentation systems will be reconnected or replaced as needed to support restored operations. These improvements aim to enhance the performance, safety, and reliability of the digester systems and associated infrastructure.
Briar Creek Phase 4 Sewer Rehab-CANCELLED
This will be an invitation to bid for construction and will consist of cured-in-place pipe lining, manhole rehab, and other miscellaneous services for several thousand linear feet of current infrastructure. This was originally paired with the Paw Creek/Diversion project and will now be two separate construction projects.
