The Brooklain-Coulwood Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Cathey Road to the east, Brooklain Drive to the south, Waycross Drive to the west, and Coulwood Drive to the north. University Pond Water Quality Enhancement Project
The City of Charlotte Storm Water Services is proposing a water quality enhancement project called University Pond. It is bordered by Robert D Snyder Road to the North, Phillips Road to the East, University Hospital Drive to the South, and North Tryon Street to the West. The pond is partially located on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus and the remainder on the Atrium Health University City campus. The pond is within a drainage area of approximately 32 acres.
Collective X Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series X includes two projects within the City of Charlotte: 6701 Dulverton Dr. and 2424 Ramblewood Ln.
The 6701 Dulverton Dr. project involves storm drainage system upgrades, including installation of a 4’x6′ box culvert, replacement of storm drainage structures and reinforced concrete pipe, full‑depth asphalt replacement, new curb and gutter, and concrete driveway. The 2424 Ramblewood Ln. project consists of the replacement and realignment of small‑diameter reinforced concrete pipe, installation of a CIPP liner, replacement of storm drainage structures, slope regrading, full‑depth asphalt replacement, new curb and gutter, and driveway replacement.
Albemarle Road Pedestrian Safety and Connectivity
This project will fill in sidewalk gaps along Albemarle Road & Wilora Lake Road, install 6 Level One Mobility Hubs along Albemarle Road, and install 3 Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons (PHBs): 2 on Albemarle Road (between Farm Pond Lane & Winterhaven Drive and Regal Oaks Drive & E.W.T Harris Boulevard) and 1 on Central Avenue just west of Wilora Lake Road.
Robinson Church Road Sidewalk, Brawley Lane to Jones Creek Lane
Improvements on Robinson Church Road to create a more pedestrian-oriented corridor, between Brawley Lane and Jones Creek Lane. Improvements will primarily include sidewalk, curb and gutter and milling and overlay of asphalt.
Eastway-Shamrock Intersection Improvements
This project will reconstruct the intersection of Eastway Drive (NCDOT maintained) and Shamrock Drive (City of Charlotte maintained). Design element considerations include construction of a new quad roadway, revised turn lanes, sidewalk, bike lanes, wheelchair ramps, pedestrian medians, driveways, curb and gutter, storm drainage, landscaping, traffic signal installation, and pedestrian crossings.

Arbor Pointe Dr 3201 Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Asset Management performed an inspection of the dual 60-inch CMP culverts with paved inverts beneath Arbor Glen Ln in June 2023. Proposing CIPP lining on the dual 60″ CMP culverts. Replacing the two headwalls. There are improvements on the side system of the culverts. Remove and replace a catch basin along with 15″ RCP. Remove and replace a single catch basin with a double catch basin. Remove and replace a section of 24″ RCP.
Ben Craig Drive Extension
Roadway project to connect the end of existing Ben Craig Drive to the terminus of Kenbrooke Drive, the terminal point of the Alexan Research Drive development.
