CTC Redevelopment – Design Reimbursement – CANCELLED

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) Redevelopment Project will construct a mixed-use development through a public-private partnership.

White Point previously purchased a 1.2-acre, half city block directly across the street from the CTC. This 1.2-acre property will be used to construct a temporary facility while the new structure is built at the existing location
The project will be achieved through a White Point partnership with CATS, coordination with City of Charlotte departments and stakeholders as well as communication with nearby property owners.

Concourses B and C Gate Modifications

 

The project scope includes the modifications to the arrangement of the gate counters at B concourse, gates B1-B4, and C concourse, gates C2-C5 & C7, to mitigate congestion at the north end of each concourse. The project also includes modifications required to existing partitions upon relocation of art walls, floor cores for power and data, and revised seating layouts.

On-Call Architectural Consultant Services

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is seeking statements of qualifications from professional architecture, architectural engineering, and design-focused firms to provide task order architecture and design concept services. Services are expected to cover a range of smaller studies, conceptual designs, investigations, coordination processes, and technical support of a limited nature. Many of the anticipated tasks will be themed toward facilitating decision-making and implementation of projects in Charlotte’s Destination CLT Capital Improvement Program (CIP) that are or will be designed and constructed under other contracts. The Task Order assignments are intended as extension-of-staff efforts and expertise for the effective delivery of Destination CLT projects and other projects or issues to come before the Development Department. This Architecture Task Order contract is focused largely but not exclusively on “vertical work” and is complemented by two other Task Order support contracts for Engineering & Construction, and Planning.

Concourse E Gate E5/E5-A Modifications

Modifications-renovations minor changes  to existing  hold room and the exterior of building.  A new door to the exterior of the building,  steel walkway ramp from the building down to the ramp, new electrical and data and security work associated with the new door.

 

Ramp Level Break Room Addition – Concourse A

The purpose of this contract will be for Concourse A Ramp Level Break Room Addition. This will add a break room and restroom for use of building maintenance staff. This will be a turnkey project for the addition one room and one restroom. This work is outlined in the narrative and drawings provided by AME Consulting Engineers. Contract term is 6 months.

SBE Targeted ITB: The City has established that this project will be targeted to City certified SBE firms only. Only firms registered and have an active SBE certification with the City of Charlotte can bid on this project.

Wide Body Gate Upgrades – CANCELLED

Cancelled – This project was consolidated into the Private Access Drive – Construction project.

Central Energy Plant (Design)

The Central Energy Plant is part of the Terminal Lobby Expansion Construction Management at Risk Project.

Provide for design of space for a new central energy plant to be located on the first level. The central energy plant will be for the New Terminal Expansion, but will also include space for current and future infield development.

Airport North End Around Taxiway (NEAT) Overlook Relocation – Construction

The NEAT Overlook Relocation includes the construction of a new Airport Overlook Drive, installation of a sanitary sewer force main routed along the west side of the new Airport Overlook Drive continuing to a septic field located easterly of the intersection with Old Dowd Road, a 683 square foot restroom building with utility service, a 145-vehicle paved and lighted parking area, a bus/food truck parking area, picnic tables, benches, and an open recreation area within a 4.23 acre fenced site.
