Vehicle and Equipment Wash Services

The City of Charlotte requires qualified vendors to provide chemicals, repair parts, and maintenance and repair services for drive-through wash facilities owned by the City. The chemicals and services are used to wash, maintain, and disinfect various vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to heavy-duty trucks such as  Solid Waste Services collection trucks, dump trucks, sewer trucks, and rodder trucks operated by Charlotte Water; salt spreaders and road repair equipment operated by the Charlotte Department of Transportation; and rail cars operated by the City.

Light Rail Vehicle Cleaning Services

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) LYNX Light Rail Vehicle Maintenance Department (LRV Maintenance) is looking for a qualified Company to augment their cleaning capabilities of the light rail vehicles by cleaning vehicles during the day, between rush-hour schedules, and at night. The cleaning of the Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) may include requirements for cleaning unexpected spills resulting from CATS passengers and the machine cleaning of vehicle seating.

CATS Light Rail ROW Pest Control- Cancelled

Quarterly Pest and Rodent Control for the current 32 Structures along the Rail Right of Way ROW (Right of Way) to include Substations and Signal Houses.

The vendor will be required to be escorted by CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) personnel to complete the task due to gates and for safety reasons.

The contract will also need to be amendable to include the any streetcar ROW (Right of Way) structures that are completed over the term of the contract.

CATS Bus Operations Soap and Cleaning Solutions

The Charlotte Area Transit System Bus Operations Division (CATS-BOD) is requesting bids for a supplier to provide bulk cleaners to the two Charlotte CATS-BOD facilities.   The division uses multiple degreasers and cleaners to maintain cleanliness at multiple levels.  This contract will include supplying and maintaining the chemical storage vessels, checking and maintaining adequate levels of cleaning products, and providing product equipment repair within a 24-hour period after reporting.
