Remove and replace the joint sealant in the concrete pavement in the following locations: Runway 18R-36L, Taxiway W (and associated taxiways), Taxiway N, Taxiway S, and Taxiway V (and associated taxiways).
Airport North End Around Taxiway (NEAT) Overlook Relocation – Construction
The NEAT Overlook Relocation includes the construction of a new Airport Overlook Drive, installation of a sanitary sewer force main routed along the west side of the new Airport Overlook Drive continuing to a septic field located easterly of the intersection with Old Dowd Road, a 683 square foot restroom building with utility service, a 145-vehicle paved and lighted parking area, a bus/food truck parking area, picnic tables, benches, and an open recreation area within a 4.23 acre fenced site.
Taxiway M Rehabilitation (Construction)
This project scope includes rehabilitating the existing pavement concrete of two taxiways. Additional work related to the taxiway rehabilitation includes airfield lighting and signage replacement, grading, drainage, temporary sediment and erosion control measures, and pavement markings.
Terminal Lobby Expansion – Construction
Expand and renovate the ticketing and baggage claim lobbies of the existing landside terminal approximately 80-feet by 800-feet
PS & WAS Pipeline from Long Creek to Irwin Creek-Cancelled
Two separate lines will be needed for the solids transfer to handle the primary sludge (PS) and Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) respectively. The PS & WAS Pipelines from Long Creek to Irwin Creek will be approximately 12 miles.

5601 Wintercrest Lane Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The Wintercrest Lane Storm Drainage Improvement Project will upgrade existing infrastructure along Wintercrest Lane and Arundel Drive. The improvements will include a box culvert that will run along Wintercrest Lane and Arundel Drive, and will outlet into a channel that connects to Scofield Road. The project will include storm drainage, utility relocation, asphalt paving, curb & gutter, traffic control, and other related construction activities.
Catawba Raw Water Pump Station Cell 1 Rehabilitation (CANCELLED)
Replacement of the entire equipment, piping, master control centers and intake structure. Combined with Catawba Project
Catawba River Water Pump Station Cell 4 – Pump Addition -CANCELLED
This project would add an additional pump to Cell #4 which is sized like the existing, and a capacity of 65 million gallons per day.
The Catawba River Water PS Cell 4 Pump Addition should be cancelled. It has been pushed out in the CIP and will not be available in January 2024. There is no updated timeline on this project.
