Charlotte Water will purchase heavy duty truck bodies for replacement vehicles, and new vehicles that may be needed for future operations. Utility truck bodies are installed on separate cab/chassis assemblies which are purchased from a different vendor that is already under contract. The truck bodies purchased on this contract come in different configurations based on the intended use of each specific vehicle. They are installed on trucks used by construction crews in the course of field maintenance and repair tasks throughout the water and wastewater system.

Purchase of containers will reduce the cost of buying wood to build to ship repair parts out to vendor’s for repair.

Obtain a contract to purchase locks and cores to replace the outdated locks and cores on CATS existing facilities on the south corridor of the Blue Line . The locks and cores will be purchased and pinned by a certified locksmith and will be consistent with what CATS currently uses, which is, Schlage Everest “T” keyway, 6 pin large format, removable cores, and some non-removable cores. The cores would all be pinned according to CATS biting information. The locks and cores will be installed on CATS facilities by CATS Security staff.

The purpose of this project to remove four (4) existing wind cones located at the north and south ends of airfield at Charlotte Douglas International Airport and install four (4) new wind cones, provided by the Airport. Contractor is responsible to maintain a safe and clean operation and for security of all material and equipment while on site. Contractor is responsible to repair any items damage caused by work performed while on site. All staff assigned to project are required to be badge in accordance with airport security policy. Staff must properly display badge at all time, on the upper part of body visual to security and official members of the Airport. Any loss, damaged or stolen badges MUST be reported immediately to your airport contract.
