Leak Detection Services
Charlotte Water is seeking to contract with a qualified firm to provide professional water leak detection services across its residential service lines and public water mains. The selected vendor will be expected to utilize specialized tools and systems capable of detecting underground leaks and identifying areas of current loss with precision and minimal disruption. Services may involve advanced acoustic, chemical, and pressure-based testing methods, along with the use of pipeline diagnostic equipment to support field verification. This work will contribute to Charlotte Water’s ongoing efforts to reduce non-revenue water, improve infrastructure reliability, and proactively manage aging assets.

Fiscal Year 2026 Street Main Extensions Contract 3
This contract will focus on the construction of street main extensions and other necessary infrastructure projects. It will also serve as an on-call contract for capital project construction support. The work will be performed throughout Charlotte Water’s service area, ensuring continued system reliability and expansion where needed.

McAlpine Creek WRRF Digesters Rehabilitation
The McAlpine Digesters Rehabilitation project focuses on restoring key components of the biosolids treatment facilities. This includes structural repairs and a new cover for the first digested sludge storage tank, along with installation of new sludge pumps, valves, and piping. The project also replaces an outdated programmable logic controller system and adds a new sludge line to separate gravity-fed and pumped flows. Additional improvements include a new dewatering well system for draining the storage tanks and structural evaluation and repairs to the second digested sludge storage tank.
Collective AJ will consist of 4 projects (2033 Teddington Dr, 435 Norwood Drive, 2316 Kilborne Dr, and 10513 Moss Mill Ln).
