Water Treatment Polymer Trials
The scope of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract for the purchase, delivery, and other inherently related activities of liquid emulsion polymer for solids dewatering for Charlotte Water’s Franklin WTP in compliance with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in this ITB.
Polymer Trials will take place prior to receiving bids for the polymer. All Products and parts furnished under the Contract shall be new, shall comply with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in this ITB, and shall operate in full compliance with the Specifications.

Locating Services for the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT ... Locating Services for the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT)
This contract will be for fiber optic cable physical locating, marking, and positive responses to NC811 of CDOT’s underground infrastructure as required by the Underground Utility Safety and Damage Prevention Act, Article 8A of Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Work provided under this contract is to supplement CDOT’s current in-house locates unit and will cover the city of Charlotte limits.

Fiscal Year 2027 Small Diameter Water and Sewer Services Contract
This contract will provide installation services for small-diameter water and sewer service connections within the Charlotte Water service area. It will replace the existing FY24 Small Service Contract #2. The project ensures continued expansion and maintenance of service connections across the region.

Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Project Series X
This project consists of multiple isolated storm drainage improvements projects located throughout the City of Charlotte. Projects include storm drainage replacement and sewer relocations within the street right-of-way and private, residential properties.

Charlotte Area Transit System / Construction
Hambright Park and Ride Construction Project
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out the construction of the Hambright Park & Ride. The proposed Hambright Park and Ride will be an approximately 460 parking space mobility hub to provide rapid transit services to the Town of Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas by utilizing the newly constructed express lane direct connect. The project will also include a new public street to access the site, driver comfort station (driver restroom facilities), internal pedestrian circulation, provisions for a mobility hub for micro-mobility options and/or shared ride services, site security and surveillance, and sustainability components.

North Yard Storage Site Construction Project
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) development division anticipates contracting construction up-fits at the North Yard Facility with intentions of utilizing the area as storage for CATS. The storage yard, also known as the North Yard Annex, will be a secured and monitored area with access control, security lighting, CCTV cameras, fencing, and power supply capable of providing climate control measures to material as needed.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Rail division anticipates contracting for spare brake pads and disc for the LRV S70 and Streetcar. The brake pads and disc are essential to maintaining the braking system during preventative maintenance for revenue service.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates contracting with a supplier that will handle pickup, delivery, and repair of radiators, charge air coolers, oil coolers, coolant surge tanks, and fuel tanks for CATS buses. The supplier must be able to provide parts, including radiators, coolers, surge tanks, and fuel tanks for various bus models.
