Bonlyn Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, and channels. Work could also include working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within the street right-of-way or within storm drainage easements.

Village Lake Dr 2210 Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Project started due to surface depressions along roadway. City plans to remove and replace corrugated metal pipe with 83 linear feet (LF) of 8’ x 4’ reinforced concrete box culvert; remove and replace two headwalls; remove and replace 311 LF of 15″ reinforced concrete pipe (RCP); remove and replace 42 LF 24″ RCP; remove and replace 27 LF 18″ RCP; bank grading; and remove and replace 85 LF 10” ductile iron pipe of sewer.

Project initiated to address a failing 48” CMP culvert. The culvert crosses a high hazard dam with deficiency’s that will be addressed by a private HOA. The city intends to install approx. 80LF of 48” RCP and tie into an existing concrete flume; remove and replace approx. 40LF of 15” RCP; add (1) DCB; add (2) CBs; add (1) winged headwall

Moorland Dr is a double barrel culvert that is undersized. We are planning to upsize the culvert to a 12’x5’ box culvert
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is seeking a Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide environmental assessment and remedial services. Services will include ongoing spill remediation for NCDEQ UST Section Incident #18989, involving comprehensive site assessment and long-term corrective action activities. Work includes assessment and reporting, site monitoring, absorbent pad and boom maintenance, and operations and maintenance of two (2) dual-phase extraction systems and associated Physical Chemical 1 wastewater treatment systems. The anticipated duration of the project is approximately 5–10 years.
