Charlotte Water will be seeking contracts with companies for the as-needed purchase of fire hydrants and American Flow Control, Clow, Kennedy, Mueller and E J (East Jordan Iron Works) fire hydrant parts. One manufacturer will be selected (based on low bid) for the purchase of fire hydrants, and contracts for parts will be established for each manufacturer. Fire hydrants and parts shall be delivered to the Charlotte Water location specified at the time of purchase, with the most frequent delivery location being 5730 General Commerce Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28216.
