The Charlotte Douglas International Airport, a City of Charlotte department, needs the selected proposer to act as a system integrator and system manager for the term of the agreement providing all software, hardware, equipment, and implementation services that include, but are not limited to, millwork modification design, hardware and software configuration, interface development, project management, commissioning, training, and support, for an automated biometric facial recognition boarding gate system that will connect to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Traveler Verification System (TVS), supporting the airport’s commitment to CBP for biometric international exit and a commitment to passenger safety and privacy.
Requirements
As requested by CLT international airlines, the solution will need to be configured to connect to the tenant airline’s Departure Control System (DCS). The selected proposer should be able to expand the biometric system to optionally add industry-standard equipment services and emerging innovations, such as e-gates, self-service kiosks, self-service bag drop, and others, as requested by CLT. The proposer’s biometric system must be standalone and not dependent on another airport system except for supplied power and network connectivity for functionality.
