The City of Charlotte and Participating Public Agencies are seeking bids from qualified vendors for the supply of high-quality firefighting turnout gear. This turnout gear is essential for the safety and effectiveness of the firefighting personnel. We are seeking vendor who can provide durable and reliable turnout gear that will provide protection to the upper and lower body, excluding head, hands, and feet against adverse environmental effects during structural firefighting. All material and construction of turnout gear MUST meet or exceed NFPA standard #1971 – current edition and OSHA requirements for fire fighter protective clothing.
