The project will install Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the terminal and parking decks to enhance safety for passengers and employees. This initiative aims to standardize signage, locations, and AED types across the Airport campus, ensuring AEDs are more visible and accessible during emergencies. It includes replacing existing AED cabinets, adding new ones, providing conduit pathways and conductor cables from the cabinet to the iStar panel, and installing AEDs in parking decks to meet a 3-minute response time. New AED locations will be aligned with the Airport’s Wayfinding Master Plan, strategically placed in public areas near restrooms for optimal visibility. To ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to airport operations, the project will include 3rd shift work hours.
