The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is seeking bids from a qualified supplier to provide up to fifty (50) portable driver feedback speed sign assemblies. As part of a rotational installation program, driver feedback sign assemblies are used to indicate to a driver when they are exceeding the speed limit in an effort to encourage better compliance with speed limits. Driver feedback signs are also used to gather speed data from the locations where they are deployed. CDOT will manage the installation of these devices internally and will only procure the signs under this contract.
