These services will support the City’s ongoing efforts to efficiently manage, store, and securely dispose of physical and electronic documents across various departments.
Safety Supplies
The City of Charlotte is requesting a new contract to provide safety supplies and personal protective equipment. The successful bidder shall agree to receive all orders from the Charlotte Department of Transportation, Neighborhood and Business Services, Charlotte Water, and Solid Waste Services as well as other departments and deliver items ordered to a specified address.
All Products and component parts furnished under the Contract shall be new, shall comply with the specifications and terms and conditions.
Vehicle and Equipment Wash Services
The City of Charlotte requires qualified vendors to provide chemicals, repair parts, and maintenance and repair services for drive-through wash facilities owned by the City. The chemicals and services are used to wash, maintain, and disinfect various vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to heavy-duty trucks such as Solid Waste Services collection trucks, dump trucks, sewer trucks, and rodder trucks operated by Charlotte Water; salt spreaders and road repair equipment operated by the Charlotte Department of Transportation; and rail cars operated by the City.
CANCELED – Vehicle and Equipment Wash Services
This City is seeking a qualified vendor to provide chemicals, repair parts, and services for drive-through wash facilities owned by the City. The chemicals and services are used to wash, maintain, and disinfect various vehicles and equipment.
General Vehicle Collision Repair Services
The City requires qualified service providers to work in conjunction with the City’s Fleet Management staff to perform complete turnkey collision repairs and related services on city fleet and Mecklenburg County vehicles. Collision repairs may include but are not limited to paint and body work, frame, cooling systems, engine components, transmission, steering, and related part repairs or replacement.
Light Vehicle Repairs
The City of Charlotte requires qualified light vehicle dealers and general service providers to work in conjunction with the Fleet Management Division to support the city’s fleet comprising various makes, model years. The services for this requirement include but are not limited to repair, replacement, maintenance, diagnostic, warranty repair and representation related services for vehicles. The city will be soliciting bids to award a vendor a contract to provide these services.
Citywide Domestic Appliance Repair Services
The City of Charlotte is seeking qualified service providers specializing in domestic appliance repair to support maintenance and repair of a variety of essential household appliances in various city facilities, including 45 firehouses. The scope of service includes repairs for kitchen ranges (both gas and electric), dishwashers, refrigerators, clothes washers, clothes dryers, and ice machines. Service providers must demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues across these appliances, ensuring they function efficiently and reliably. Timely response, adherence to quality standards, and excellent customer service are essential to meet expectations and maintain satisfaction. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals outlining their experience, capabilities, pricing structures, and any relevant certifications or licenses.
Citywide Domestic Appliances
The City of Charlotte is seeking a vendor or vendors to supply a wide range of domestic appliances. Reliable appliances are crucial for maintaining high standards of living and operational efficiency for city employees, including first responders and staff. A contract or contracts to purchase various domestic appliances will support the smooth functioning of essential services, will be essential to ensure consistent and efficient operations across multiple facilities, and will allow timely access to quality equipment.
CCPA Technology Products and Related Services
The City of Charlotte requires miscellaneous technology goods and services from a variety of providers to support ongoing operations. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is on behalf of the Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA).
The vendors will provide the following miscellaneous technology goods and services:
- Conference room equipment (smartboards and projectors)
- Miscellaneous technology items (plotters, tablet computers, ruggedized laptops, video cameras and equipment, power protection, and A/V equipment, etc.)
- Servers and firewalls
