This construction project is located near Eastway Drive and Shamrock Drive and involves addressing a deteriorated corrugated metal pipe system located within the Shamrock Gardens Apartment complex as well as flooding of multiple roadway crossings. An analysis of existing conditions will be performed to determine portions of the storm drainage system needing improvement, planning analysis of improvement alternatives, design and construction of needed improvements. The Shamrock Gardens Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Purser Drive to the north, Shamrock Drive to the south, Briar Creek to the east and Eastway Drive to the west.
Pebblestone Storm Drainage Improvement Project
Pebblestone Storm Drainage Improvement Project consist of channel stabilization and a parking lot rebuilt. The improvements will include approximately 250 linear feet of bank hard stabilization and 170 linear feet of bank soft stabilization. In addition to the channel stabilization, sanitary sewer improvements are required. 180 linear feet of 10-inch and 32 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron restrained joint sanitary sewer pipe. 180 linear feet of 16-inch and 20 linear feet of 24-inch steel encasement pipe.
Cancelled- Thorncliff Drive (7316) Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The purpose and need for the construction project are to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. Hill Street Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The storm drainage improvement project is for the area in and around Hill Street. The construction project boundaries are Tryon Street to the southeast, Trade Street to the northeast, South Cedar Street and West 1st Street to the north, and Palmer Street to the southwest. The project includes storm drainage improvements that reduce house and street flooding or will repair failing infrastructure.

This project will be constructed through a STW unspecified contract eliminating the need for the project to go out for bid.

4101 High Ridge
This 4101 High Ridge Project will consist of 47 HP 12×53 steel piles for an approximate total of 1880 LF. The proposed culvert is an 12′ x 4′ Precast R.C Box Culvert for 45 LF. The endwalls will be Non-Standard Endwalls. There is also a pump around operation, relocation of a 12″ DI Restrained Joint Water Pipe, PC 350 for 52 LF, Concrete Culvert Foundation, and Traffic Control for Road Closure is needed to complete this project.
McDonald Avenue (Culvert) Storm Drainage Improvement Project – CANCELLED

The design-build team has already been selected and are currently working through their guaranteed max price (GMP) before they go to Council for approval. We had a couple questions on the GMP for our part that the d-b team is working through. I believe their intent is to go to Council in the next couple months with construction starting in summer/late summer, so probably not until FY23.”
