The Company shall Maintain and make available a fleet of new Vehicles in various categories, given turnover and other requirements as is necessary to maintain confidentiality of CMPD Officers. These vehicles are used primarily by the Vice and Narcotics, and Gang Units in the specialized undercover investigations. Leasing Vehicles enables Police to rapidly switch out a vehicle if it is identified as an undercover car.

The City requires professional Security Guard Services Companies to supply Security Guard Services at a number of City facilities throughout Mecklenburg County. The scope of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract for the purchase, delivery and other inherently related activities for Body Armor. This specification details the style and quality of concealable body armor intended for the use by male and female members of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. The body armor shall be worn comfortably while being concealed under a shirt or garment. All materials will need to be in compliance with the latest industry standards, and other laws and requirements concerning the state of North Carolina.
