The City of Charlotte Aviation Department is interested in partnering with a qualified company for the purpose of hosting and maintaining CLTairport.com, CLT’s iOS application, CLT’s Android application, existing features, integrations, and the web and app(s) content management system.
The qualified company will be capable of maintaining, updating, and expanding CLT’s web and app(s) 3rd party platform integrations that include, but are not limited to, flight information feeds, security wait times, online parking booking, payment services, bus wait times, interactive airport maps, and loyalty program.
The qualified company will maintain CLT’s web and app compliance, pursuant to the American Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The company will adhere to CLT’s brand standard and ensure the web and app(s) maintain a passenger-focused, feature-forward, engaging design, that is highly reliable and high performing across web browsers, operating systems, desktop experiences, mobile experiences, and devices.

Concourse E – Phase 10
This project consists of a single-story addition to concourse E just south of aircraft envelope E4 and adjacent to the employee turnstile. The addition is primarily a shell space to be leased to a tenant or stakeholder for the final buildout. The base bid is for a 4,350 Square Feet (SF) addition and associated site work with two add alternates to increase the total SF by an additional 1,400 SF per alternate. Scopes of work that are included in this project but not limited to are: selective demolition, concrete SOG, structural steel, metal decking, miscellaneous steel fabrications, rough carpentry, PVC roofing and sheet metal, insulated core metal wall panels, waterproofing, joint sealants, HM doors and frames, door hardware, glazing, non-structural framing, gypsum board, acoustical panel ceilings, sheet carpeting, resilient base and accessories, painting, pre-engineered interior wall panel systems, resinous terrazzo flooring, signage, wall protective coverings, corner guards, fire protection specialties, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire sprinkler & telecommunications.

The City of Charlotte Department of Aviation is seeking a comprehensive contract for Airport Operations – Customer Support Services at CLT. The service provider will establish a team of highly engaged, well-trained, and hospitality-oriented Customer Service Associates (CSAs) and Baggage Service Associates (BSAs) to provide a commensurately high level of professional, courteous, efficient, and safe service.
CLT is on a journey to continually strive to elevate the customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency for customers as they move through the lobby, baggage claim, security checkpoint, and Federal Inspection Services (FIS) spaces and processes.

The City of Charlotte Aviation department is seeking bids for on-call General Contractor services. Aviation Facilities Division maintains a portfolio of buildings, including the Main Terminal, offices, fire stations, over 100 tenant occupied building spaces, and equipment shops, which house many aspects of the Aviation Departments Operations. The intent of this solicitation is to select
multiple companies to provide General Contractor services for various Airport properties on an as needed basis.

CLT is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced companies interested in maintaining existing or providing a Building Management Systems to monitor access control, cameras, HVAC and fire detection at the main Terminal, old Terminal building and at the CLT
Center.

Concourse A Modifications
This Project aims to modify and relocate existing equipment, replace tables, add an experiential element, and extend tenant services at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The modifications of the existing equipment will accommodate a dual-use system at each Gate Counter including the electrical and data infrastructure leading up to the network. There will be a Flight Information Display System” that will need to be relocated in the connecting corridor which includes structural attachments to the building and repairs to the existing Terrazzo. Work hours between 2300 – 0500 EST to prevent disruption to Airport Operations. This project will require 100% badging for all workers.

CLT Center Roadway Improvements
This project will construct a new exit lane leaving CLT Express Deck-Self Park, enhance signage along CLT Center Drive, and implement enhanced safety measures along this road. Work involved with this is project is a new asphalt roadway connection, additional wayfinding signage and pavement markings, and high visibility crosswalks with flashing beacons. Anticipated construction duration is 9 months. Project constraints will include some but not all night work depending on the work area.

On Call Technology Services
Contract(s) will be used to provide maintenance and support for systems purchased under these Contracts. The goal of the Technology On-Call IT Contract is to support all airport management services leveraging technology systems as needed including but not limited to parking, baggage, gate management, commerce, connectivity, wayfinding, security, ticketing, etc. Services may be applied to any type of airport system. Contracts may include additional software licenses, services, and hardware. The contracts will provide Aviation the necessary flexibility to ensure the needs of the rapidly changing environment are met. It is critical to ensure the Airport’s technology systems are stable and safe to allow tenants to connect to their own technology systems.

CLT Center Storm Drainage Project
This project is located in a parking lot behind the CLT Center located at 5601 Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte, NC. The purpose of the project is to install new pipe to contain and drain runoff from the building to an existing storm drainage system at the rear of the parking lot. The work involves installation of reinforced concrete pipe, storm drainage structures, asphalt surface, and re-striping the parking lot within the construction corridor.

Airport Zones 2 and 3 Landscape Maintenance
This project is to perform landscape maintenance in zones two and three within the campus of Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Zone 2 is primarily made up of areas along Billy Graham Parkway and the airport’s parking lots. Zone 3 is primarily made up of areas along Wallace Neal Rd., ARFF Rd., West Blvd., and Piper Lane. The daily and weekly tasks include mowing, edging, spraying, trash pickup, pruning, and mulching. These areas are to be clean and manicured to present aesthetically pleasing appearance to the public.
The primary goal of this project is to upgrade the existing telecommunications infrastructure at the airport from copper Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) lines to a more advanced, efficient Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system. This transition is aimed at addressing the current limitations of the outdated system, which include lack of modern communication features and inefficiency in handling the airport’s operational demands.
