Light Vehicle Repairs

The City of Charlotte requires qualified light vehicle dealers and general service providers to work in conjunction with the Fleet Management Division to support the city’s fleet comprising various makes and model years. The services for this requirement include, but are not limited to, repair, replacement, maintenance, diagnostic, warranty repair, on all automobiles, vans, and pick-up trucks operated by the City without exclusions or limitations.

This RFP seeks to establish a contract for comprehensive light vehicle repair and maintenance services to support the City’s fleet, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery in accordance with the City’s operational requirements.

Hydraulic Pressure Hose Repair and Replacement Services

The City of Charlotte is seeking a qualified provider for hydraulic pressure hose parts and services for a variety of vehicles and equipment.  Services are provided onsite at individual Fleet Management locations and offsite roadside locations within Mecklenburg County.

Fleet Trailer Equipment Repair Services

The City of Charlotte is seeking a qualified provider of Fleet Trailer Equipment Repair Services to work in conjunction with Fleet Management. The Company shall perform maintenance, and repair services on fleet trailed equipment owned, operated, or maintained by the City.

Light Vehicle Repairs

The City is seeking qualified vendors to provide automotive repair services for city-owned vehicles. Vehicle types include cars, vans, pickup trucks, and medium-duty trucks. The City fleet includes vehicles from the following manufacturers:

  • Chevrolet/GM
  • Chrysler/Dodge
  • Ford
  • Kia
  • Nissan
  • Toyota

One or more contracts will be awarded from this solicitation for an initial term of three years with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms.
